Madden NFL used to be a regular appearance on Nintendo platforms however we haven't seen it for nearly 10 years after Madden NFL 13 on Wii U. EA is still offering annual updates for FIFA (even when they're "legacy editions"), EA previously said they didn't plan to release the game on the Switch back in 2018. However, a recently released job advertisement suggested Madden could finally be out.

In the job requirements the job description, there is a section that asks for 2 years of experience with "Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo gaming consoles". It may not sound too impressive, but previous EA postings haven't had Nintendo in their requirements.

Remember that EA had previously announced that it would release seven Switch games during the 12-month period beginning in June 2020. There are six confirmed games from June 2020. This includes Apex Legends it was announced in the last week of this week.
There's still one to go. But given the annual release schedule for Madden, EA could potentially be waiting until the inevitable buy Madden nfl 22 coins - as opposed to the Madden NFL 21 port - because they usually launch in August. Let's hope this isn't another older version.
